Description
The architects Warren & Mahoney required a glass balustrade system through to the core and engineering buildings throughout the University of Canterbury. One that matches aesthetically with the unique design and structure of the University, whilst fully compliant to C5 requirements of the building code.

C5 is to withstand crowd loading in a public place. Compatible colours were selected for the base finish of the glass. The Davantech method and system used at the university was site-specific and backed by professional issued producer statements.
The end result is a seamless, easy to maintain, very safe system. It creates a feature in an already exceptional building.
